• 6-week training at global fuel lab. Gained exposure to live fuel component & system level test procedures. Performed 2 DFSS projects to help streamline testing of fuel tank slosh noise and vapor generation rates during on road testing.• Responsible for the design and release of fuel fill pipes and emission canisters and all subcomponents of the assemblies across 7 different programs. Lead the global product development team for each of the components. Responsible for on time delivery of parts for build events, validation completion, and tooling kick off. Contain issues quickly and find long-term cost-effective fix. Provide accurate timing & cost estimates for engineering changes. Communicate high severity issues to management with urgency. Initiate and track any engineering design changes to my components. Collaborate with advanced vehicle development engineers to communicate lessons learned into future programs. • Contributed to the development continuous improvement cost savings measures of approximately $200,000 per year• Owned/managed the SharePoint site for the fuel systems release organization, as well as the chassis job opening SharePoint site.
