From 2011 through June 2019, I worked at a business valuation and litigation consulting firm located in Downtown Los Angeles. I have experience valuing privately-held companies across various industries located in Southern California and experience working with high-net worth individuals, attorneys, and CPAs. As part of my position, I performed financial analyses and modeling and in-depth client, industry, market, and competitor research. In the summer of 2019, I interned at a fully integrated real estate development and investment firm focusing on self-storage with over 50 properties in California with an estimated market value of properties of $1.0 billion. I conducted financial analysis, underwriting, real estate zoning, market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence of potential investments in new markets and collaborated on weekly presentations including investment memoranda, deal summaries, and cohesive deal recommendations. In the summer of 2020, I interned at BentallGreenOak, a global diversified real estate private equity firm, within the U.S. investments team. I directly assisted acquisition professionals with researching new and existing U.S. markets, evaluating economic and demographic trends across all product types and equity strategies.
