I love people and all the wildly inspiring things they do; fashion and music in particular.I’ve always been a photographer. As a childe, I took pictures on my grandpa’s Polaroid. My mom took my brother and I to have rolls from disposable Kodak cameras developed at the 1-hour photo. Later, I got my hands on a Hi-8 video camera and made a series of stop-motion sketches using modeling clay.In high school, I became the editor of the “Investigations” page of the Crimson Chronicle, my high school newspaper. I spent little time investigating, as most of my time was spent wandering the halls of my school with a camera taking photos of fellow students.As a young man, I worked as a production assistant for production companies like Disney Channel, M3 Television, Epoch Films, Hungry Man, and JMZ. I have also worked as a camera and lighting assistant to several Los Angeles commercial and fashion photographers.I established my photography business in 2015 and since then was awarded first place in an international fashion photography contest, spent some time working as the in-house lead fashion photographer for New Face Fashion Magazine, learned on set as a camera and lighting assistant for several well-known working fashion photographers in the Los Angeles area, and had many fashion editorials published in various publications, including Ellements Magazine and Pump Magazine.​You can view my photography portfolio on my website: www.patrickpattonphotography.com
