I am a dedicated, hardworking, passionate Aerospace Engineer looking to distinguish myself as an exemplary employee in the Aerospace sector. At Auburn University, I was challenged by the rigorous Aerospace Engineering curriculum, which required me to program in several different languages, learn aerodynamics as well as orbital mechanics, and understand the basics of structural dynamics.During the summers while I was in Undergrad, I provided life-changing experiences to thousands of Boy Scouts as a staff member at Philmont Scout Ranch, teaching such varied skills as Blacksmithing, Teamwork, Animal Husbandry, Astronomy, Meteorology, and even 19th century mining techniques. My last two summers, I served as a Camp Director, responsible for ensuring my staff provided the same level of excellence to participants, providing evaluations, and coordinating staff in case of emergencies.At ASRC, I put my Aerospace Engineering skills to use for the first time working in satellite navigation for NOAA's GOES constellation. I developed my understanding of orbital mechanics into a strong professional skill, and used my out-of-the-box thinking to streamline navigation operations, saving hundreds of man-hours per month. At Rincon Research, I threw my hat in the ring for a TS/SCI clearance and began using my navigation experience to learn more about Orbit Determination and refined my Python skills to better increase my work efficiency.I can't wait to see what's ahead!
