Since childhood, I have traveled to Poland during summers to spend time with my grandparents. Being an American with Polish roots, I speak both English and Polish. I have always desired to know more about my polish background, which is the primary reason why I decided to enroll for my undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Wroclaw. It accorded me with an excellent opportunity to bond with my grandfather. Not only did I find in him a valuable friend, but he also became my mentor. He has taught me so much; thus, my greatest desire is to become more knowledgeable and even surpass him. My travels were not only limited to Poland. I have had numerous opportunities to tour many European countries, during which I have studied and gathered much information. I have learned about diverse cultures in countries outside of the US. I encountered many people during my travels and made numerous lifetime friends globally.While working as a volunteer intern at Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency, I assisted the film crew during an interview with Wroclaw's president. I utilized my metalinguistic skills to translate and interpret various duties from Polish to English for the crew. Later I enrolled for an internship at Avidengineers, where I oversaw the installation and maintenance of local plant equipment. I performed data collection and analysis. Upon completing my Bachelor of Business degree program, I was lucky to land a job immediately as a junior Analyst in Anti-Piracy and Cyber Security at Irdeto. I was tasked with monitoring and enforcing anti-piracy during live events. I analyzed, mitigated, and managed threats and risks for clients besides researching and monitoring current technologies against pirating, taking care of websites and applications. I have had several achievements as an analyst at Irdeto. I have interacted with big clients such as Fox, Amazon, Disney, and National Geographic. Being a confident and team-oriented analyst, I helped develop an analysis of workflow enhancements that have boosted effectiveness by a significant percentage. My excellent analytical and problem-solving skills help secure our clients’ live events and remediate illegal Livestream websites.After living in Europe for six years, the time has come for me to fulfill my dreams of pursuing a Cyber Security Career in the United States
