By packing an entire home gym and personal trainer in one wall-mounted device, Tonal has revolutionized strength training. Yet, the challenge of sharing this brand’s unique story required an equally innovative creative approach to define how Tonal would show up in the world – what we looked like, how we felt, and how we amplified our members’ incredible stories of strength.Responsibilities included:• Establishing long-term brand visual identity+voice with brand tools, including channel-specific guidelines, templates, and messaging hierarchy• Directing creative (photo and video) production across multiple customer experience touchpoints• Hiring and leading a team of 12 designers, writers, editors, and project managers in the end-to-end creative execution of marketing, content, product, and partnership initiatives• Cultivating and managing a robust and scalable, creative network of external designers, editors, writers, and agencies to maintain a consistent stream of brand-aligned, testable, multi-platform media• Collaborating daily with cross-channel partners to translate complex marketing objectives into actionable, brand-aligned creative executions. (campaign and product marketing, growth media, paid + organic social, email, responsive web experience, community, customer experience, store design, retail, gear shop, hospitality, and photo/video production) • Evolving and iterating presentation, driving continuous change in line with market and audience trends to maintain the competitive edge
