In this role I had the incredible opportunity of assisting with the Selling of License to Occupy homes at Summerset Hobsonville as a Sales Assistant. This was a fantastic challenge as I was new to the role, and the industry.Throughout my first 18 months, I was immensely proud of what I was able to achieve. I became a crucial part of the Northern Sales team; offering support and cover in 4 developing villages, allowing me to contribute over $40,000,000 worth of sales. I developed and implemented best practice systems that are currently being used across multiple villages; offering better productivity, generating more leads and, subsequently, delivering more settlements in a shorter time. I designed a Community Engagement project currently being piloted in a $200 million village and, to date, has generated some really positive results. This project was endorsed by the Head of Villages who said "it was the best system he had seen in the 5 years he worked for the company." I took lead of our most challenging village in Ellerslie, managing affected residents, offering clear communication with not only families but also business partners and developing a move in system that is still being used positively. I have lead inductions and training sessions for 4 Sales Assistants. I had the opportunity to offer support to the Group Sales Manager on multiple occasions with reporting, sales and marketing events, business planning and sales team management. I was honoured to be endorsed and recognised by the Senior Leadership Team, Executive Team and Members of the Board. This role was incredibly rewarding as we welcomed 100's of new residents into brand new homes where they were supported and empowered to live a beautiful and rich life.

On top of my role as Team Leader for The Monaco Kitchen I also worked closely with the General Manager in a professional and business development role. This allowed me to attend multiple sales courses both in Australia and New Zealand. In June 2015 I travelled to Auckland with the Food and Beverage manager to sell the property at a trade show called Meetingz, which specialises in events and conferences. Then, later in the year, I travelled to Beijing with the General Manager and attended Kiwilink, Tourism New Zealand’s Trade show. For three days we met with, and presented to, over 80 trade buyers, presenting what we had to offer in terms of accommodation and product for the Chinese Market. This year allowed me to learn how to fully understand and research a product and then sell the product to national and international customers with not only pride but also great conviction. Through both these tradeshows, I confirmed and converted a considerable amount of business for 2016 and the next few years.

Team Leader and procurement manager for newly established fast paced Nelson restaurant.In this role I worked for the award winning 4.5 star Grand Mercure Monaco Resort in Nelson, as a team leader and stock manager in the onsite restaurant ‘The Monaco Kitchen’. Through this role I was in charge of stock takes, purchasing, negotiating deals and promotions with wine and liquor reps, ordering, team management, strategic relationship building, marketing and front of house service. I had the pleasure to host National and World leaders – both political and business, international sports teams during both the Rugby World Cup and the Cricket World Cup and many international dignitaries hosted by the local council.
