I believe event planning isn’t just about logistics — it’s about creating a shared experience. Something that resonates with your audience. A fundraiser that sparks passion. A sporting event that connects people. A concert that makes people laugh, sing and dance. Events that compel participants to share their experience with others, so they can be a part of it too.For over 25 years, I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of this rich, rewarding field. During that time, I’ve taken on a variety of roles and challenges, from implementing strategic marketing plans, to applying new technologies to event design. As a result, I’ve developed expertise across a broad range of disciplines, including project management, innovation building, marketing, revenue strategy development, and event production operations. Events are fun because you get to dream big, problem-solve in real-time and deliver a product that people remember.Today, as an executive leader at one of the top event production agencies in the nation, I shape experiences that engage and entertain while delivering strong ROI for my clients on a global scale. Among the highlights:• Raised $1 billion for charities while providing 1 million event experiences.• As acting Chief of Staff, managed the work of 75 staff members working in marketing, client and participant relations, and event production.• Launched 15+ signature event series in the 30 biggest DMAs.• Fostered and maintained partnerships with a range of clients, including nonprofits, corporations, universities, and government agencies. Planning events provide the opportunity to be creative, strategic, and tactical, all at the same time. Nothing’s better than looking around at an event you produced and thinking –– knowing — that you raised the bar. And that you already have ideas about how the experience can be made even better the next time around.
