A native of Wellington and a lifelong Ohio resident, Patrick Shepherd joined the Greater Sandusky Partnership team in June 2024. Previously, worked at the Cleveland International Film Festival between 2001 and 2024 and served as Associate Director since 2006. During that tenure, Patrick oversaw fundraising, community engagement and media relations and helped grow CIFF into one of the nation’s premier regional film festivals. Prior, he worked at the American Red Cross and won the national organization’s Tiffany Award for Employee Excellence in 1999.Just as deep as Patrick’s professional experience is his passion for community involvement. He is co-president of his 2020 Leadership Cleveland Class and the 2007 recipient of the Human Rights Campaign Leadership Award for his work on public policy and advocacy. And for more than a decade, he served as a regular panelist on Feagler & Friends, one of the region’s most popular public affairs programs.He holds a bachelor’s in history and political science from Bowling Green State University.
