This process also entailed working with various non-engineering stakeholders from across the enterprise to 1.) understand what factors were known to have an influence on buyer’s purchase decisions, and 2.) discover where and how these data points were being captured and stored within the enterprise.- Regular contributor to the monthly “Ops Review” presentation document detailing the state of the project, milestones achieved and technical specifications. This document was presented each month to the highest levels of leadership within the company.- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical specifications for the Demand Forecasting Engine. This innovation sparked interest at the division level (iDEN) and led to my involvement with the iDEN-wide RCTT solution.-Based on my own initiative, I designed and created a graphical application ("Silver Bullet"), in PERL/TK, used to automate the setup and installation of our integration test machines, thereby reducing the time required by our engineers to IT/RT our software.-Designed and created a Java based application ("Sherlock Homie") which interfaces with our iHLR mobility and call processing software to facilitate debugging activities.
Founder
-Designed and developed an entire PHP based Content Management System (CMS) from scratch. The design allowed for an administrator to define new content types with varying data attributes post-deployment. Integrated an open source WYSIWYG editor and an open source HTML templating engine. The CMS was then used to rapidly deploy several small business websites for our clients.-Designed an online Internet Marketing tool which allows a marketer to split test each and every step in the sales funnel while providing a single URL as the link in their paid search ad (for example Google Adwords). The tool allows the marketer to test between landing pages, banners and the final sales page by generating performance metrics for each. The marketer can then optimize the sales funnel by checking/unchecking abox to add or remove banners, landing pages and sales pages from the rotation in real-time based on their performance. At its peak, the tool was handling several thousand requests per day.-Designed a tool that allowed the marketer to passively bid on keywords by defining a bid interval and bid maximum for 1 to N keywords. The tool would then periodically check for competing bidders on the keywords specified and outbid them by the bid interval up to the bid maximum. This functionality was based on an open source testing framework called Sahi. The development of these tools was performed by a team in India which I directed through daily communication and requirements documentation. These tools were used by me for Internet lead generation in financial and retail verticals over a period of two years.
