Long Rang Planning
As a member of the Long Range Planning, chief among my many assignments and responsibilities was geared towards the creation, production, and evaluation of United’s Five-Year Plan - a detailed and comprehensive business model built up from anticipated schedules, fleet plans, market plans, and economic outlook. Since trends and deviations from any or all of these input sets will have an impact on United’s ever-evolving business needs, I was directly involved in collecting, evaluating, and forecasting these data and their relative effects. Additionally, I created a standalone model which would analyze the proposed main plan for statistical inconsistencies among any sub-modules along with many other error checking protocols.Long Range Planning was also involved in a substantial number of ad-hoc projects, as assigned by senior management, during the normal course of business. Some of those in which I participated in, or lead, were Minimum Connect Time standards and statistical effects, many deep dive financial and economic reviews, numerous data mining requests, and "what-if" analyses targeting the big picture prospects of United. In support of these many creative projects, I created and maintained numerous sql, R, RStudio ,brio, and Excel models. Additionally, I repaired and improved numerous existing models and reports.
