In October 2012, MRA merged with Trusight, formerly Employers Association, a Minnesota-based employer association. I relocated to Minnesota to lead this new division of MRA and serve the approximately 1,100 member companies across the state. Joining MRA in 1994 provided me the opportunity to be part of a highly respected organization I had experienced as part of a member company for over 10 years. My strategic and tactical HR skills and knowledge were utilized to help dozens of MRA member achieve their HR and business objectives. In 1996 I began managing the Human Resource Partners and in 1999 I began leading all services that provided any type of Human Resources assistance to our members. Specific areas under my direction included compensation, recruiting, reference checking, competency planning, succession planning, performance management, outplacement, and affirmative action. MRA’s Institute of Management, which offers over 1,300 training events each year in the areas of business skill enhancement, management and leadership development, and Human Resources, began reporting to me in 2003. In 2010 MRA's publications, 24/7 Hotline, and the Online Resource Center rounded out my responsibilities.
