Patty Emmert is the Community Relations and Marketing Manager for Duncan Family Farms, a certified organic farm specializing in leafy greens and specialty vegetables. Their growing operations are located in Arizona, California, Oregon and New York. Since joining the farm in 2010 her main responsibility has been to develop a distribution platform for the farm’s Specialty Vegetable crops, increase brand identity, develop a marketing program for the farm and community outreach programs and oversee the business development and sales for their Specialty Vegetable crops. Additionally, Patty is the Co-Chair for Slow Food Phoenix and was a previous US Delegate to Terra Madre in Turin, Italy. She sits on the Farm to School Advisory council for the state of Arizona. Her dedication is deeply rooted in building vibrant sustainable food supply systems. Her primary area of focus is concentrated on a values based supply chain model to build up local and regional infrastructure to support small and medium size farms to move their goods into the marketplace. An over arching initiative is to ensure everyone has access to healthy, fresh food.Duncan Family Farms believes that their primary responsibility is to produce clean, healthy, life-giving food. We are also committed to making a strong contribution to an improved environment and to giving back to our community. We are growers of certified organic specialty vegetable crops, culinary herbs and baby tender leaf items (spring mix, spinach, arugula, kale) with year round production between our farms in Arizona (Goodyear, Yuma and Maricopa), California (Imperial Valley, Cuyama), Oregon (Tulelake) and New York (Brockport).
