MLC Insurance developed a 3 year pricing strategy to improve cash position and future sustainability. I am directly responsible for project managing delivery of a new product for new business customers and repricing the products of the existing book of customers.My responsibilities involve engagement of vendors, contract negotiation and execution through procurement processes. Impact assessment on whole technology landscape, resource profile, cost management, team onboarding and Executive reporting.So far I've successfully introduced alterations capability, the new product and repriced the existing book of customers. Additionally I've delivered a cloud based trigger in Amazon Web Services for sending communications to impacted customers.

1 month into my role as a Product Owner at MLC I was seconded to a business stabilisation program focused on recovering business operations post a Digital Transformation release. My remit was remediation of claim payments processed ‘off-platform’ due to system defects. The payments were not reflected as 'Money in' on the general ledger impacting finance and regulatory reporting and prevented recovery of reinsurance payments. I built a temporary team consisting of a data scientist, operations and process SME and multiple resources from the IT vendor. Over 5 months we curated the data into cohorts and established a process to re-enter the claims into the core system with an auditable trail for future traceability. The result was successful re-entry of >3000 claim payments enabling fulfilment of APRA regulatory reporting obligations, balancing of the general ledger and recovery of outstanding reinsurance.

I developed business cases and managed the PMO governance processes to secure CAPEX funding and resourced and managed the delivery teams. Success in this role required strong delivery focus and a capacity build collaborative partnerships with operational teams, business support stakeholders and external suppliers.Major achievements were the build and implementation of industry-first inventory management capability, altering Telstra's stock allocation model through introduction of a shared warehouse model and establishment of a Customer Retention Centre of Excellence.
