Manage all aspects of USAF programs, including proposal development, cost models, answering requests for information (RFIs), task order proposals, requests for proposal (RFPs), developing work plans, program schedules, and technical documentation to support program operations. Develop Hiring requests, responsible for interviewing and also mentoring after hire. Develop proposal documents, technical documents, and management reports. Develop program schedules, flow charts, and spreadsheets as necessary.

Responsible for oversight of multiple multi-million dollar programs performing a wide range of aviation industry tasks. Teamed with other departments, subcontractors, critical vendors, and consultant teams to develop programs from requirement definition, through capture and proposal, and then directed performance following corporate guidelines and best business practices. Dissected proposal requirements to develop responsibility matrices that carried through to contract performance. Capture manager for multiple aircraft sustainment and modification task proposals, as well as for GSA schedule proposal submittal and for the very large SOF MACM IDIQ proposal. Responded to incoming requests for information as well as requests for proposals and large requests for order proposals for existing contract vehicles. Interviewed, hired, and mentored technical and programmatic staff. Developed processes and procedures for implementation of program plans. Developed, edited, reviewed, and directed technical compliance for a wide range of technical documentation.

Overall Management Operation and Strategic Vision for a small engineering and technical services company. Performed over $50M worth of business supporting the Joint Strike fighter II (F-35) assembly line, Eglin AFB programs, and multiple aircraft modification and sustainment programs for the Air Logistics Center at Robins AFB GA. Developed a sophisticated and successful proposal team the responded to complex proposal requirements including government and Lockheed-Martin RFPs. Developed a strong network of other small business contractors and worked well as both a prime and a subcontractor. Developed and implemented management processes and structure rapidly including accounting, quality management, and production as well as engineering departments. Implemented MSOffice online in its early phases, and had fully functional SharePoint and Remote office capability by 2010. Purchased and implemented complex drafting, modeling, and analysis tools to perform tasks in-house that other companies were outsourcing.

Managed several multi-million dollar aircraft modification programs for USAF Special Operations Forces/Combat Search and Rescue (SOF/CSAR) aircraft as well as Air Force Special Operations Command special mission aircraft. Managed programs for HH-60G and several variants of C-130 special mission aircraft. Developed many winning proposals for work awarded under IDIQ and standalone contracts. Was customer interface for all programs. Managed teams of individuals and subcontractors to perform work in real time. Received written recognition from Air Force customer ("Purple" CPAR) for outstanding work under very difficult conditions. Developed dozens of complex proposals for multi-million-dollar aircraft modification and sustainment projects, including developing quantified vendor evaluations for a very large, critical glass cockpit upgrade and then preparing a fully compliant technical, cost, and management proposal. Repeated this process many times, while still managing several ongoing programs and overseeing the other program managers as well as functional manager responses to PM directives.

Joined as an INS/Doppler Navigation Systems specialist (328X4), Rivet Work Force changed me eventually to Communication/Navigation Systems maintenance (455X2A to 2A590 eventually). Spent total of 12 years active duty and about 8 1/2 total Reserve. All of my time was in Air Force Special Ops, working C-130 special mission aircraft, MH-53 and HH-60G and their systems primarily. I have worked in the shops, on the flightline, in the ISO/Phase docks, as well as 4 years in QA for the 919th MXG.
