- Assist in developing Rx quoting strategy based upon market insights and internal operating targets for our self-funded Commercial and Public Sector book of business.- Translate new pricing strategies into our Excel based pharmacy Pricing Tool that is used to generate pharmacy pricing quotes for customers, ranging from 100+ members to 100,000+ members.- Evaluate the utilization and financial experience of prospective and existing Key Account, National Account, and Public Sector customers using claims data to determine market competitive pharmacy pricing guarantees. - Update Rx Pricing Model quarterly to include new products, financial forecasting, and functionality to meet market demands and create internal efficiencies. - Construct responses to complex RFPs in the areas of pricing guarantees, contractual definitions, products, and reporting. - Work with consultants in reviewing and negotiating changes or additions to Administrative Services Agreements, for both existing and new customers.- Lead cross-departmental projects with Finance, Legal, Client Reporting, Actuarial, and Client Management, related to pricing strategies and standards, new product build, and reporting. - Act as a Pharmacy SME, providing training to Medical Underwriting, Health Plan leadership, Sales, and Client Management as needed related to pharmacy pricing concepts. - Manage internal pharmacy quote database and provide reporting and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of data.
