Future Operations Officer for the only permanently forward stationed combat and combined division in the US Army. These organizations range from directorates, to staff agencies, the Fort Sill National Landmark and Museum, the Field Artillery Museum, the U.S. Army NCO Academy, and the 77th U.S. Army Band.

Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Commander of the headquarters and headquarters battery of the 434th Field Artillery Brigade with the mission to provide the brigade administrative, weapons, communications, and maintenance support. Leads, plans, coordinates, supervises, and provides resources for the continuous support of four Basic Combat Training (BCT) battalions, a reception battalion, and a support detachment. Manages an annual budget of $20,000 and the maintenance of 12 Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) vehicles. Accountable for government equipment valued in excess of $2,300,000. Directly responsible for the health, welfare, and quality of life of over 90 Soldiers and their Families and 30 Department of Army civilians. Additional responsibilities include basic combat training summer heat mitigation systems planning and execution and brigade consolidated dining facility scheduling synchronization.

Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Commander of a Basic Combat Training battery assigned to the 1st Battalion, 31st Field Artillery, 434th Field Artillery Brigade at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and supervising the execution of a nine week program of instruction for 240 Initial Entry Training Soldiers from Active, National Guard and Army Reserve Components. Develops and supervises the execution of the composite risk management process. Directly responsible for the professional development, morale and welfare of the battalion headquarters and battery cadre consisting of four officers, 25 noncommisioned officers, four Soldiers, 1 DA Civilian, and their Families. Ensures the proper accountability and maintenance of equipment valued in excess of $1.3 million. Manages the allocation and expenditure of the battery's annual budget of $22,500.

Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Assistant Battalion Operations Officer responsible for plans and operations in a 540 Soldier 155mm (M777A2) Field Artillery Battalion stationed at Schofield Barracks, HI in support of 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. Responsible for assisting the Operations Officer in managing the tactical employment, training, preparation and operation of the battalion including it's three firing batteries, headquarters battery, attached Military Police Platoon and attached Signal Company. Plans, coordinates and helps execute the battalion training plan, field training exercises and deployments. Coordinates and integrates battalion support assets including survey and meteorological support and target acquisition radars. Supervises the setup, operation and movement of the battalion tactical operations center during tactical operations.

Iraq

Assistant Fire Support Officer for a Stryker Brigade deployed in Support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Responsible for assisting the Brigade Fire Support Officer in the integration of indirect, rotary wing, fixed wing and joint fires throughout the Brigade Operating Environment of 117,000 square kilometers. Also served as the Brigade Plans Officer responsible for the writing and publishing of Brigade Operations Orders that direct, synchronize and provide subordinate commanders with operational and support guidance to conduct stability operations. Assists in evaluation and assessment in the Brigade Campaign Plan. Responsible for the integration of Transition and Reposture efforts into the planning efforts of the brigade and coordination with higer, adjacent and subordinate units to ensure completion of all tasks and requirements.

Fort Shafter, Hawaii

Fires Planner of the Future Operations Section of the Operational Manuever Directorate assigned to the US Army, Pacific Headquarters Contingency Command Post. Responsible for the planning, coordination, integration and synchronization of Fire Support assets at the operational level for operations and execises conducted by the command post. Maintains close coordination with Joint Force Headquarters and sister component Fires Elements to synchronize targeting efforts. Briefs future operations plans and recommendations for future focus at the Army Component Target Working Group and Targeting Board.
