Lead the measurement, analysis and reporting for Tasmania’s visitor economy, providing authoritative insights and advice based on data, knowledge and experience. Proudly the custodian of the Tasmanian Visitor Survey, Australia’s longest running visitor economy measurement tool (45+ years).

Provide authoritative insights on tourism related topics including market profiling, segmentation, brand health, campaign performance, creative evaluation, digital analytics, visitor research, forecasting and spatial data analysis to support the activities of the business and its stakeholders, using digital, spatial and conventional sources. Provide specialist advice on the design, analysis and visualisation of research using a range of methodologies, and coordinate the ethical, strategic and effective management of data.

Judges volunteer their time to review and provide constructive feedback on submissions to enable operators to gain valuable insights from a range of industry experts. The Australian Tourism Awards are the tourism industry’s peak Awards – recognising and promoting excellence in tourism. First established by the Federal Government in 1985, the Australian Tourism Awards are now owned and managed by Australian Tourism Awards Inc, on behalf of the tourism industry. A wide and diverse range of tourism businesses enter their state and territory Tourism Awards. Over 200 reach the prestigious status of becoming a national finalist.Winners from these finalists are announced at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards Ceremony in front of an audience of their industry leaders and peers.

The Tasmanian Tourism Awards are presented annually by the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT) on behalf of the tourism industry. The awards recognise outstanding achievement across all sectors of the tourism industry in Tasmania.I have been honoured to be asked to be a judge in the prestigious and competitive awards from 2016-2019. Judging is a significant volunteer commitment, and is a tangible way to give constructive insights back to operators. Winners of the state awards are automatically finalists in the QANTAS Australian Tourism Awards.

Authoritative strategic analysis and reporting on tourism research and trends to deliver meaningful research insights to Tourism Tasmania and its stakeholders, and the and scoping, development and delivery of specialised research projects for the agency.Responsible for the briefing and managing of project teams, selected contractors and outside consultants undertaking specific research tasks for the agency; for consulting widely within the unit, Tourism Tasmania staff, the tourism industry, and other organisations on tourism research; and for fostering and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Facilitate and ensure data integrity and quality for transactions through the National Electricity Market for Tasmania

Facilitated and controlled the daily archiving of patient records and correspondence for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and the Australian Organ Donor Register.
