In a very competitive medical device sales landscape, I was at the forefront of international operations, managing existing distribution partners and taking advantage of new business opportunities, significantly contributing to Talley Group’s multimillion-pound annual turnover. As an influential member of the senior management team, I shape our vision, mission, and strategy, whilst communicating changes, trends, and key information to the Board. This entailed identifying and appointing new distributors, negotiating lucrative agreements that benefited both parties, and managing over 50 international distribution partners. Leveraging my industry expertise, I delivered viable solutions to an array of issues, utilising my commercial acumen to ensure all marketing needs were fulfilled, and all aspects from tenders to pricing remained competitive and technically sound.I excelled at identifying and creating new business opportunities, representing the Group at global exhibitions, informing and interacting with prospects and partners alike. Remaining poised and professional, I worked across all business lines, bringing unity to our international operations and ensuring consistent service delivery. This included supervising and coaching two direct reports. Selected Contributions: Grew sales from £2.5m to £6m, over the last seven years, by penetrating new growth markets, onboarding new distributors, and maximising the customer experience. Increased our distributor profile from 10 to 50+, whilst infiltrating markets in South East Asia / South America, rolling out new product ranges, and driving brand exposure. Launched a wound care device campaign, winning an Export Business of the Year Award at the South Coast Business Awards (2018). Secured a £10m opportunity for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) project (US), earning the Sunday Times Export Track 100 and Profit Track 100 listings based on international sales growth and profitability (2017).
