Innovative BIM Specialist | Transforming Construction ProjectsPaul Perkins is from Columbus, Ohio, he is an alumnus of the University of Cincinnati, College of DAAP (Fall 2015), where he earned his degree in Urban Planning. Although Paul's educational background and early professional experience revolved around Urban Planning and Architecture, he has spent the last 9 years deeply involved in the commercial/residential architecture and construction industry.Throughout his career, Paul has led the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) practices on a wide range of projects. These include MLS Soccer stadiums, hospitals, hotels, grocery stores, food and medical warehouses, mixed-use buildings, data centers, airport terminals, and more, with project values soaring into the hundreds of millions.In his past roles as a BIM Coordinator/Lead, Superintendent and Project Manager, Paul was dedicated to collaborating with teams to deliver seamless and high-quality constructible BIM Models. Paul's expertise and experience extends beyond his proficiency in 3D visualization and effective visual communication through various BIM tools. In his current position as an BIM SME, he is driven by delivering on the importance of BIM and its transformative potential for the future of construction.
