Paul has over 30 years’ experience on a wide range of engineering projects for clients in the private and public sector as a Project Manager, Design Manager and Principal Designer.Paul combines solid technical and people management skills. He is passionate about his projects and excels in multi-disciplined project leadership. He particularly enjoys roles with significant client and project team interaction. This broad experience enables him to take a very practical viewpoint and identify potential issues early, and prioritize them based on their ability to impact on the project down the track.Paul has developed into a highly competent designer with an in-depth knowledge and familiarity of the relevant TfNSW / Austroads standards, specifications and procedures. His practical and forward thinking approach has ensured that the design solutions are accurate, appropriate and efficient, reducing rework, construction and operational issues. He takes the lead in civil projects, taking ownership of all design packages and aspects. He has attended numerous SiD, WH&S and Constructability & Risk workshops with clients and other stakeholders for projects in the public and private sectors.Paul's technical experience spans across all design stages from feasibility to detailed design in highways, rail, mining and municipal engineering projects. He has developed considerable experience in partnering style contracts and understand the requirements of sound governance at Designer and Road Safety auditor level to ensure the successful outcome of projects. He has developed skills in a wide range of software packages including MX, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Autotrack, Autoturn, ProjectWise, Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
