• Created the first centralized training function in the US Retail function serving 12,000 employees across 1500 retail locations and 1 corporate office. • Oversaw and managed the recruitment, development, capacity and performance of 4 learning professionals in the US and 1 dotted line report in Canada. • Partner with business unit, and parent company, executive leadership teams (up to Sr VP and President), HR Business Partners, corporate “Center of Excellence” departments to develop yearly and 5 year KPIs with subsequent delivery of strategically important talent development programing a including employee effectiveness, corporate culture and Purpose and team dynamics.• Implemented talent programs across N. America with a concentration on leadership development and sales effectiveness. Current offerings impact approximately 600 employees a year in a multi module leadership program and approximately 3000 employees in a series of 4 sales effectiveness programs. • Collaborated with Sr HR leaders and business unit Sr VP to design, develop and facilitate a 3 day Field Leadership Development program focused on the development of succession candidates for General Manager roles. • Partnered with subject matter experts in technical areas such as crop/soil sciences, safety and manufacturing to develop and deliver training as well as increase the effectiveness and exposure of technical training to field based employees.• Design and develop programing in the areas of strategic leadership, employee engagement, corporate culture and change management. All curriculum development followed the ADDIE model achieving a 90% average approval rating for instructor lead courses. • Participated in the Succession Management planning of the Center of Excellence including 9 box evaluation of staff, assessment of potential and ready now status for promotion.

In the beginning of this role I acted primarily as a training coordinator and LMS administrator. I managed vendors who delivered training programs to our manufacturing and mining employees and coordinated all corporate training efforts. Progressing past these duties allowed me to become the lead facilitator for Agrium’s leadership development program “Growing Leaders of Others”, enhancing leadership capabilities for around 400 Agrium leaders across Canada, USA, and Europe. I also facilitated and developed programs in Effective Communication, Negotiation, Change Management, Coaching and Mentoring, and Performance Management. Serving as the lead facilitator and curriculum developer, I trained all top-line leaders (Directors, VPs) in Agrium's new Cultivating Excellence organizational culture rollout in 2016. After being promoted to a leadership position, I was responsible for spearheading leadership development activities for Nutrien's North American operations, I facilitated various senior leader trainings, including a global Leadership Summit for VPs and above, focusing on integrating the new corporate culture post-merger. This included steering the Executive Leadership Team of the merged Agrium/Potash Corp of Saskatchewan (now Nutrien), I guided the analysis and creation of the organization's Values, Engagement Principles, and Purpose. Finally, I led a centralized leadership development function across Retail, Manufacturing, and Corporate units encompassing approximately 18,000 employees, I managed two direct reports with an additional six dotted line reports in the field.
