I'm an accomplished learning and development leader with a passion for contributing to the success of organizations through the development, engagement and inspiration of the employees that work there.With almost 18 years of employee development/adult education experience in both private and public sectors, in multiple countries, I bring a diverse perspective on employee development. In my previous roles, I spearheaded learning and leadership development efforts for over 18,000 employees and played a pivotal role in shaping corporate culture. I have had the opportunity to do it all. From managing learning management systems, to developing curriculum, delivering trainings to small groups and large and even creating the Values and Engagement Principles for a multi billion dollar company. I will never say i've done it all but I have had the opportunity to do a lot.While I certainly have a passion for the classroom my greatest privilege has been building and leading high performance learning teams. It is amazing what even small teams can achieve and I am proud to say that i've lead teams that delivered on strategically important learning initiatives and provided value to their employee customers. America with a concentration on leadership development and sales effectiveness. I managed vendors who delivered training programs to our manufacturing and mining employees and coordinated all corporate training efforts. Progressing past these duties allowed me to become the lead facilitator for Agrium’s leadership development program “Growing Leaders of Others”, enhancing leadership capabilities for around 400 Agrium leaders across Canada, USA, and Europe. I also facilitated and developed programs in Effective Communication, Negotiation, Change Management, Coaching and Mentoring, and Performance Management. Serving as the lead facilitator and curriculum developer, I trained all top-line leaders (Directors, VPs) in Agrium's new Cultivating Excellence organizational culture rollout in 2016.
