I maintain a staff of 5-9 employees and am responsible for staffing the front desk appropriately. Our industry never closes and therefore I am on call 24/7, but have a GM that truly believes in the necessity of a home life as well. We work together with our AGM and staff to ensure that we all get a fair amount of time away from work to be with friends and family. We work together with our AGM and staff to ensure that we all get a fair amount of time away from work to be with friends and family. When on property I am often the Manager on Duty, though our AGM tends to be with us until early evening as well, we have different strengths and work well together to see to it that each department constantly offers the highest level of service possible. Other responsibilities that have been delegated to me include management of our accounts receivables ledgers and guest ledgers. I also handle most of our guests billing disputes or discrepancies and help to raise the level of communication between all departments to the highest level. I hope to continue working withing my current position for as long as I can until a promotion becomes available here, as I believe in the management company and the direction they are striving to move in.
