Working with venues, vendors and music directors,I organized artistic details necessary to produce concerts and festivals worldwide for touring bands, choirs and orchestras.

I taught Fourth and Fifth Grade Music with a focus on appropriate music theory and classical literature. Students performed two concerts per year. I contracted vendors to lead clubs for our students, assisted with registration, and served as the liaison between club leaders and administration. As Dean of Students, I worked with the Headmaster in carrying out the school’s academic and behavior programs. I worked cooperatively with the Headmaster, Academic Dean, staff, students and parents to cultivate a positive school climate.

I directed junior high school vocal performers, including beginning classes, all large choir performance ensembles, soloists, and small ensembles. In addition to my teaching duties, I managed the choral budget, coordinated fundraising activities, planned and executed many concert and performing opportunities, and managed a fast-paced and ever-changing environment . I also established and maintained professional relationships with colleagues, students and parents. My choirs actively participated in vocal music events such as All-Region Choir, Solo & Ensemble, Alamo Showcase of Music and UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest. I served as contest host for Region 23 All-Region Choir Auditions and the Katy Choral Festival. I also participated as a member of the Fine Arts Curriculum Committee and was the Fine Arts Chairperson for my campus.

My responsibilities included teaching K-8 Music, producing two musical performances per year, teaching K-1 Math, and assisting with Language Arts.
