The Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD) is a non-profit, membership-led body, representing the best creatives in Ireland. Our primary aim is to support creative excellence in Irish advertising and design and those working within the industry. We 'Foster, Promote and Reward' creative excellence in Irish advertising and design. ICAD is are best known for our annual awards but, amongst other things, we also run exhibitions, events, talks, offer learning opportunities and publish an awards book.

As an advertising creative my job is to see campaigns through from concept to completion. This involves generating the spark of an idea, developing it into something special and making sure its made to be all it can be. As an Art Director my priority is to focus on developing a campaigns look and feel and find new and visually arresting ways to speak to consumers, images and ideas that will resonate. In my role as Head of Art it’s my job to nurture new talent, ensure high visual standards and lend guidance to my fellow creatives.
