Managed a team of experienced database and operations engineers, responsible for all retail database systems from development to production.Hands on with database architecture, design, application development and performance tuning.Maintained and upgraded metrics capture data store (~40Tb), custom reporting and replication processes.Analyzed, tested and upgraded applications and database from Oracle 9i to 11g.

Managed a team of DBA's and systems engineers across many database platforms including production implementation and support.Designed and implement multiple sets of Oracle RAC servers on RedHat as a standard commodity with quick deployment for new applications. Included default backup and disaster recovery resulting in multi-million dollar savings over existing platforms that were over provisioned and/or underutilized.Reviewed multiple database systems for suitability, scalability, manageability and expense.Designed and implemented many very large DB2 ZOS databases (~35Tb), supporting payment system of record, credit card processing. Performed security Audits, business resumption design, planning and execution.

Managed team of DBA's to migrate PS applications from Oracle to DB2 (UDB) on AIX.Included stress testing, performance monitoring, DB & application tuning and production support.* This contract was between my Wells Fargo contracts above.
