Supporting multiple vessels worldwide with refits, surveys and maintenance periods.

Working on rotation, ensuring continuous operation of this world traveling vessel. Preventative and breakdown maintenance, Planning and management of yard work, parts ordering and external contractors. Adherence to delivery schedules and compliance paperwork for authorities and management.

Managing all refit, sea trial and compliance surveys to ensure smooth running of a busy vessel.

As 2nd engineer I worked directly with the Chief Engineer in the day to day running of the vessel including fuel transfers and purification, maintenance and fault finding on all electrical systems, VSAT and bridge equipment, hydraulic systems and all accommodation services. Completed and managed the compete refit of engine room including replacement of electric propulsion cabinets and drive motors. Promoted to Chief Engineer, signed off on final sea trials with ABB and Caterpillar techs.

Director and lead mobile technician. Directly liaising with large fleet owners in both onsite maintenance and breakdown situations on all manner of construction machinery. Responsible for maintaining a wide variety of private vehicles, boats and equipment. HR including management of technicians and training of apprentices.

Completed my apprenticeship, working directly with large construction and fleet companies onsite in breakdown, preventative and commissioning situations.
