Paul is responsible for the Learning and Development Services at PPWD Consulting Ltd. His portfolio manages the diagnostic, design and delivery of: Human Performance Training (including NTS), Safety Differently Development, and Investigations and Learning Reviews. His focus throughout is on Managing Risk, Leading Safety and developing the individual. He has supported a diverse number of UK and overseas clients, resulting in the halving of operation incidents for several of them.

This was one of the most exciting and challenging periods of Paul's RAF career. He started as an instructor and delivered on two of the 24 week Cses, taking Cadets through to graduating as Junior Officers. He then worked in a small team with re-coursed cadets bringing them up to the graduation standard. A time on Staff Training saw him work on the design of the new 32 week Initial Officer Training Cse and deliver Instructor training to his peers. Following promotion and a period in Iraq, Paul took command of C Sqn for one Cse before moving to take command of the Short Cses, working with staff and cadets. Thereafter, prior to leaving the RAF Paul took command of the Leadership Training Sqn and was instrumental in the updating and refining of the Leadership Cse.

Paul's service was divided into two parts: first, he served as a Puma Helicopter pilot and second, he served at the Royal Air Force College responsible for the delivery of Leadership training. As a Puma pilot he saw service in Kosovo, Northern Ireland and Iraq, fulfilling a number of broad and specific roles.

Paul worked within the revenue unit dealing with residents who were struggling to pay their community charge. He dealt with customers via the telephone, drop-in clinics, home visits and in court. His role was to secure payment protocols suitable both for the resident and the council.
