Profile bio

About Paul Done

I am the guy you wish you had on your last IT project. The nights you stayed up translating geek are lost. You weren't sure if a load balancer were a technical device or a piece of gym equipment. You wished on your team there was someone who could talk business priorities and walk into the next meeting to discuss deployment plans and server upgrades. I am the hero you didn't have.My projects have benefited from my ability to do the impossible. I have led discussions where there was no solution when we started, and a plan of action as we left. My level of optimism is contagious and a can-do attitude at least makes the unlikely become a reality. I thrive when the storms of business chaos are beating down on the troops in the trenches. When chaos threatens to destroy my projects my team knows I will support them, protect them and jump in to work on the solutions with them. This is my constitution; my code of leadership.I am a well-rounded technical professional. Over the years I have managed server farms, built websites, managed technical projects and developed technical teams. I have deployed enterprise-wide software development products and managed the aspects of security requirements to safeguard sensitive data. In a given day you may find me with a hard hat in the morning inspecting a server room and the afternoon in an executive briefing. I have earned degrees in information management, managed the training environments and technical labs and proven my expertise in project and technical service best practices. If you are looking for ideas, I have no shortage there. For me, I have not been concerned with what the rules say we can't do; instead ask what the possibilities are for what we can do. This is where my ability to develop efficiencies have made me a star. When you see obstacles and hindrances I see potentials and possibilities. You may be ready to think outside the box, but I don't believe the box exists.
