Accidental entrepreneur designing and making wooden toys to help drive kids imaginative play, just like a young Kea.As they say "necessity is the mother of invention" and the necessity in this case was a rainy weekend with my girls. A stack of cardboard, scissors, tape, toy horses and a couple of kids imagination married with time stuck inside led to a cool horse stables.What was to become Kea Play was born and after a few (ok a lot) of months of design and testing we launched our wooden stables.Where will the journey go from here? I don't know but I do know it will involve a lot of learning as I've no background in manufacturing, sales and marketing, e-commerce or pretty much anything that I'm doing now. That though won't stop us from giving is a good shot and enjoying the journey.
