As a successful consultative sales leader, my goal is to create a culture where myself and my people strive to create win-win scenarios for our clients and organization.The sales landscape has been altered tremendously by the internet and technology in general. Customers are no longer looking for vendors to sell them product, they are looking for partners to help them solve problems.In order to be successful in this landscape, I have incorporated the principals of value based consultative selling into to my team's daily activities. The biggest key to the success of the team is having a better understanding of customers' key business drivers. Once my team has an understanding of the customers' initiatives, we collaborate on a strategic plan, and proposal, that is tailored to the specific customer and differentiates us from our competition. As a result, my team has built a loyal existing client base and is successful in expanding sales into other cross-functional areas as well as acquiring new business.I am a strong leader who leads as if it was my own business. I'm someone that utilizes Servant Leadership principles. I want to make sure that I am removing any roadblocks that are keeping my team from performing at a high level. I build strong partnerships with my team as well as other internal associates which allows me to anticipate any issues that may arise and also allows me the ability to get things done quicker than others that might not have built those relationships. By building these partnerships with my sales team associates it has allowed for two things; an easier time holding them accountable and inspiring them to perform at the highest levels.
