Careers and Employment Facilitator helping students with additional needs discover their dream career, engage in further education and training and secure employment.I have a vast amount of experience in the role of a post-primary school teacher, teaching students in both mainstream settings and autism units.I spent years in the role of a residential social care worker. Working in an attachment and trauma informed manner from a person centered approach with young people experiencing intelectual, learning and physical disability. Actively promoting independence and community integration of all in care. Working exclusively in de-escalation and managing challenging behaviour.I have a background in employee onboarding and training as well as experience as a wellness activities coordinator which have proven to boost employee morale and promote wellbeing.
