I am a seasoned IT engineer and technologist with over 25 years of experience, planning, building, deploying and supporting a diverse range of technology solutions.I have big, often unique ideas and enjoy creating something from nothing, building technology rather than buying where appropriate. I have repeatedly demonstrated this bringing new, unique ideas to the businesses I have been involved with. Creating and innovating is my passion.I have worked with dozens of recognisable big industry names as well as a great number of small organisations, successfully bringing projects of all sizes from concept to reality.I have the domain expertise to take most IT projects from planning to implementation and if I fall short, my experience allows me to adapt or have the contacts to fill the gaps and get the job done.I am familiar with most popular OS's, applications and protocols,as well as several development languages. I have experience with several start-ups as both a founder and investor.My specialities, all of which I have proven long term experience in. DNS, cloud computing, internet, networking, wireless, computer security (including expert witness), IT system monitoring and performance, complex data centre hosting solutions, software development (primarily PHP and .NET), small business development and IT consultancy.I look forward to being involved in future interesting businesses. I am fortunate enough to be able to select opportunities of interest to me. I am currently working on several commercial and personal projects, some of which I hope to be the basis for a new and interesting business.
