Lead a team of global portfolio managers (Toronto, NYC, London) with overall accountability for the strategic direction, management, and optimization of a $100bn corporate loan portfolio, $1bn hedge portfolio, term loan B and loan substitute trading portfolios.- Provided 1,300+ investment opinions/year, assessing the suitability of corporate loan commitments for inclusion in the Bank’s loan portfolio. - Identified and implemented risk mitigation and return enhancement options resulting from an ongoing assessment of expected default frequency trends, market pricing, and credit analysis.- Established the Bank’s first corporate loan portfolio purchase programme, successfully initiating, identifying, negotiating and acquiring over $5bn of corporate loans in the secondary market.

Successfully expanded the LPM function and discipline globally. Primary executive contact for LPM’s assessment of capital commitment requests. Strong global relationships across commercial & corporate banking, risk management and loan syndication departments.
