My educational background and professional experience are in structural engineering, with an emphasis on seismic design of steel buildings. As a professor at BYU, I developed new technology that make steel frames more resilient to severe earthquakes. DuraFuse Frames, LLC was established to help architects, engineers, and contractors incorporate this technology into their buildings.
