The NFSP is a membership federation representing 7500 independent Sub-postmasters across the UK. As the Director of Operations, my responsibilities are increasing postmasters mails remuneration and delivery of compliance targets. Reviewing, creating and managing the NFSP’s Headquarters, Internal Policies and IT and Operational systems, Member benefits and Website and CRM systems. - Leading and setting the strategy of and managing a Mails Support Team ensuring delivery of all KPI’s.- Overseeing all aspects of performance management, coaching, training, recruitment and succession planning. - Devising and deploying strategies to increase the operational effectiveness of the NFSP in line with legal requirements and budgets for the federation maintaining an excellent knowledge of the current business climate in order to facilitate this.- Networking: engaging with internal and external stakeholders driving operational improvement and using influencing and negotiation skills to deliver KPI’s whilst offering constructive feedback where appropriate.- Leading and project managing the design and implementation of operational strategies using agile principles. Atlassian Jira & Confluence being the key project management tool used.- Creating/providing quality board/analysis reports and participating in board and senior meetings and communicating with the CEO and other Directors to analyse operational performance and devise necessary strategies to promote both easier working, customer experience, savings and innovation. - Change management: creating a positive association to change in order to ensure it is viewed as both beneficial and necessary.- Building and sustaining an excellent relationship with Post Office and Royal Mail working closely with Directors and Operational teams to positively improve customer experience, negotiate and influence changes to achieve successful outcomes for customers, members, Post Office, Royal Mail and NFSP.
