A fifteen month sabbatical, during which my wife and I drove our car from the Netherlands to India and from South Africa back to the Netherlands. A lifelong dream which has given me numerous memorable experiences and confronted me with the ingenuity and resilience of people around the world. The trip has reaffirmed my wish to work for an internationally orientated company with a firm commitment to the energy transition.
