Lead a full stack development team implementing features across the backend and app. Designed an event-driven multi-cloud system to consume an IoT event feed and produce actionable insights from those events. The system used resilient, fault-tolerant architectures in both AWS and GCP, using API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and SQS in AWS, and in GCP Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions, PubSub, and some containerized services in GKE/Kubernetes.I also established development and release processes for backend services and app releases, coding and code review standards, team scrum processes, and helped define product and development organization priorities.
