Our group supports TEM sample prep of Intel's most advanced technology nodes. We use the latest small chamber dual beams for the prep of a wide range of samples. Our lab creates world class, high quality TEM samples with the fastest turn-around times.

Worked on TEM imaging and analysis of a wide variety of samples starting from the 32nm node. Supported development and characterization of world's first finfet structures at 22nm and continued failure analysis of FE and BE structures on all Intel technology nodes.

Characterized silicon ingots for carbon and oxygen content using FTIR spectroscopy. Created process control charts to monitor C & O levels and trained technicians to do the measurements and do the data entry. Used a combination of VBA coding, SQL and Statistica to query and analyze data and post live SPC charts to company website.

Analyzed bulk samples for asbestos content using polarized light microscopy and phase contrast microscopy. Prepared TEM samples from air filters using carbon deposition and used TEM analysis for imaging and categorization of different asbestos types based on AHREA and NIOSH standards. Maintained and calibrated a Hitachi 7000 tool.
