Pratik graduated with a Master's of Information Technology specialising in software development, software and services and data analytics in 2019 from Deakin University. He completed his undergraduates in Bachelor in Technology, Computer Science and Engineering from Kurukshetra University, India in 2016Prior to that, he was engaged in delivering lectures to high school and undergraduate students in Nepal. He has teaching experience of modules Computing 9691 A levels, the University of Cambridge, Computing 9608 A levels, the University of Cambridge in Cambridge GCE A levels, and Database Management System and Project Management and Delivery to students of Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Information Technology, and Bachelor of Computer Applications.He has also experience working in software development, the higher education sector, education and migration and the travel industry. He also engaged in digital strategy planning and IT business consulting for small-scale businesses since 2016, including software development, digital marketing, and IT services. He has lead digital marketing initiatives, complex web applications project delivery and other IT services to enhance business performance, operation and revenue.He also worked as a PhD candidate at Deakin University on the "Infrastructure Futures" project focusing on the changes and evolution of "infrastructure sector". He have focused on applications of systems thinking and system modelling approach to improve understanding of changes in utilities, increasing system interconnections and interdependencies and the growing complexity. He developed a systems thinking based methodology to understand and influence changes in infrastructure sector such as water infrastructure amidst numerous factors influencing system changes .He also has a keen interest in exploring risk and diseases prediction and modelling related to the public health sector. He has worked on projects related to impact of public health education on controlling cardiovascular diseases and Ebola disease prediction prior to joining PhD.He also worked as a data insights analyst at the Goulburn Valley Water .
