As part of this role I participate in collecting data on new vehicles from automakers, annual vehicle selection for testing, quality checking test results, policy making, and efforts to keep the program modern. I oversee all aspects of the vehicle rollover portion of the program including the static stability factor (SSF) measurements and the dynamic rollover (Fishhook) tests. I also oversee other aspects of the program related to electric vehicles (FMVSS No. 305) and child passenger safety (including the child seat Ease of Use program and side airbag out-of-position (TWG) testing).
