I’m one of the founding partners of brand agency The Clearing, as well as the creative director for language. As such I work with business leaders and brand owners to strengthen the brands of today and build the brands of tomorrow. For much of my career I’ve pioneered the importance of words in branding, helping organisations use language more imaginatively to engage the people who matter to them. I’m a big believer in the power of creativity and simplicity in communication – whether you’re talking to five people or five billion. I’m also a non-exec director of Ownable – a tech firm that’s breaking new ground in digital retail. Overseeing brand and marketing, my role is to help shape and grow the business, making sure the offer is positioned in the most compelling way possible to brands and retailers as well as investors.
