I am a dedicated and professional Financial Controller | Financial Accountant | Management Accountant with over 15 years’ experience across Retail, Wholesale and Manufacturing industries.A solid background in financial, cost and management accounting.Current role - Financial Controller with Bapcor Limited – ASX 200 company.Responsibilities• Leading a team of 3 accountants in the preparation of monthly financial and management reports. • Managing a team of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll• Hands on in preparing and posting monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation and payroll.• Balance Sheet reconciliation management.• Cash flow analysis and reporting.• Presentation of monthly / yearly financial results to senior management.• Business partnering with a broad range of stakeholders in developing improvement strategies.• Engaging stakeholders in preparing budgets, forecasts and 5-year Strategic Plans.• Preparation and lodgment of FBT, PAYG, Payroll Tax and GST.• Commercial guidance and support with key stakeholders.• Preparing commercial analytics through dashboard reporting.• Financial modelling on cost reduction opportunities.• Develop business processes and policies for robust financial governance.• Collaborate with external auditors in completing mid and year end audits.My strengths lie in being adaptable, organized, self-motivated and the willingness to learn from my team and peers.
