The Electrical Safety Manager is responsible for the administration and communication of the company’s Electrical Safety Rules and the provision of electrical safety expertise for ESR questions, investigations into incidents involving the network and high risk tasks.Lead and Manage the Electrical Safety section including staff development, strategy/planning development and implementation, change leadership including communications, financial management, setting and measuring of KPIs, implementing change management plans to ensure that the expectations and outcomes of the section are met.Accept personal responsibility to drive improvements in safety performance by emphasising the acceptance of personal and management accountability for safety and implementing targeted programs to drive improvement in safety culture.Develop and implement an electrical safety management plan within the framework of the organisation safety management system.Develop and implement systems to measure the outcomes of this plan Manage the Electrical Safety Rules for the organisation, including development and maintenance of the Rules, change management, communication and education.Development and maintenance of procedures and manuals which support the Electrical Safety Rules Collaborate with the ES&A Training Policy Manager to ensure that training and education programs deliver effective, up to date and timely information regarding the Rules.Oversee Electrical Safety Rules compliance reviews and non-compliance investigations in conjunction with HSE staff. Monitor and report on outcomes, with a focus on identifying system improvement opportunities Provision of electrical safety subject matter expertise for all aspects of network electrical safety including high risk tasks (e.g. live work, operating), as well as advice on the focus and outcomes of incident investigations.
