I have dedicated the past 14 years to teaching in various Government and Independent NSW schools, with my most significant tenure at Wycliffe Christian School. During this time, I organized Stage camps, excursions, sports teams, swimming lessons, social media marketing and End of Year assemblies. I also created and led a successful basketball program from Stage 1 to Stage 6, which saw many students progress to represent their local clubs, as well as CSSA State and National teams. Leadership was key, as I mentored three staff members, providing them with ongoing learning and leadership opportunities. Building a strong culture and community was a priority from day one, which significantly contributed to the program's success. My commitment to sport extended beyond school, as I also served on the Board of Springwood Basketball Association.At St Philip's Christian College, my passion for sport and leadership continued to grow. I introduced weekly sport sessions, developed engaging classroom programs, and organised swimming lessons for Stage 2 students. I also spearheaded initiatives to better align staff strengths with their roles and improve their well-being. As a Sport Leader, I managed programs, assessments, the PDHPE budget, and oversaw the implementation of these initiatives in the Junior School. My leadership extended to organizing K-1 athletics carnivals, coordinating successful fundraisers like Jump Rope for Heart, and mentoring younger staff to build a positive school culture.Outside of teaching, I founded my own filming business, helping businesses enhance their reach through creative solutions. My experience in the NSW Police Force also equipped me with essential skills in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, adaptability, and leadership. Early in my career, I also held management roles at Blacktown Swimming Pools and Koorong Warehouse.My desire is to serve staff and community in a way that glorifies God. I believe in following the example of Jesus, who led with love, grace, and commitment while also setting boundaries for rest. Through serving others, I aim to develop leaders who can go out and make a positive impact.
