Peter is a Partner and Chairman of the Tax Department of the law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, with offices in Manchester, New Hampshire and Boston Massachusetts. He has also been a partner in the San Francisco office of Ernst & Young’s National Office West and an associate with Miller & Chevalier in Washington, D.C.Specialties: Peter has been engaged in providing tax advice exclusively since 1984. His practice covers a wide range of tax matters, including complex corporate and partnership transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs and tax-free reorganizations. He also has considerable experience in taxation of timber and tax-exempt organizations. Peter has represented major private and public companies throughout his career. He also speaks often at tax conferences.
