I have many types of experience. I have been employed in the transportation industry for over 16 years. I have vast experience in Special Transportation Services (STS) for 15 years. From ny start as a driver to being president, I have worn many if not all the hats in an STS provider. I have been a MNDOT Certified STS trainer since 2008. I have trained hundreds of Special Transportation Services (STS) drivers in many areas of the state. From Fosston and White Earth to St. Peter and many classes in the St. Cloud area. I founded Cambridge Transportation in 2006 and grew it into a large provider of Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) in many areas of the state. Cambridge Transportation serves passengers in the Twin Cities metro area, St. Cloud area, Rochester, MN, Willmar, MN, and other areas.I have been a trainer for the MNDOT Rural Transit Assistance Program (RTAP) and have received positive feedback from nearly all the students and organizations where I trained their staffs. I use an approach of teamwork and understanding of their organization.I am a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard with an Honorable Discharge. I hold a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License with a Passenger Endorsement. I have nearly 15 years of experience in the small engine/power equipment industry. I was a NASCAR, American Speed Association and Central Wisconsin Racing Association sanctioning bodies as a Crew Member. I have past experience as a Technical Inspector ar local NASCAR race tracks.I am a board member of Minnesota Safe Ride Non Profit which provides free or reduced cost rides home for bar patrons who feel they may be impaired and prefer not to drive home. To date the program has helped reduce the DWI arrests by up to 65% in Isanti county and has been replicated in many other counties in Minnesota. I am the receipiant of the Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) award in 200. I was also very active at the American Legion in Cambridge, MN for many years including positions on the Executive Board, Gambling Board and the Bar Committee along with cooking many food fundraisers for the Legion.I would be happy to answer any questions you may have and I have many life experiences that benefit my career.
