Leading new initiatives at Homely.For those not yet aware - Homely is the smartest way to operate a heat pump, connecting the device itself with energy data, weather forecasting, and (most importantly) the customer's actual real-time heating requirements to deliver green heating as efficiently as possible.I am working on features to help connect heat pumps to solar panels, domestic battery storage, and the wider energy system.My skills include innovation management, team communications, software leadership, data analysis (modelling, forecasting, dashboarding), and project management (reporting, budgeting, alignment). These were all brought to bear in the FRED Project - a major government-backed research project into smart charging of household electric vehicles which I ran.My background is in chemistry - I have a master's degree in which I researched part of the ageing process - and I spent several years working as an innovation consultant and innovation project manager at Innovia Technology which exposed me to a wide variety of companies, technologies, and contexts.
