Responsibilities include development and execution of Unisys plans for business development, account management, relationship management, and customer satisfaction for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with assigned responsibilities for the Department of Corrections, Department of State, Department of Labor & Industry, Office of Administration (OA), and Public School Employees' Retirement System. Responsibilities also include leading local marketing initiatives and participation at local IT conferences. Unisys Corporation won a competitive solicitation in 2014 to build a new state-of-the-art data center and to deliver "compute" services for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and 50 agencies. I participated in the development of the winning proposal and was named in the contract as an account manager, team lead, and a member of the "key personnel" section of the proposal. I supported BAFO and presented during orals. Initially, Unisys emphasized account management responsibilities to focus on program startup and transition leadership, agency and CIO-level communications and program guidance and customer satisfaction. The program successfully transitioned 17 agencies and all mission critical applications to the new data center in Ashburn, VA, and today continues to provide managed compute services at a high level of customer satisfaction. The account management role was transitioned to client executive in September 2016 to drive new business and revenue.
