Salutations,I'm Peter Davis, a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist currently working with Aureus Medical Group. Over the years, I've had the privilege of gaining valuable experience in the Medical Laboratory field.My journey began at Atrium Health, where I had the opportunity to learn and grow in clinical microbiology, laying the foundation for my career. After two rewarding years, I wanted to expand my knowledge by working in various laboratory departments, leading me to work with a travel agency to experience different labs nationwide.In addition to my hands-on work, I've always had a strong interest in process improvement and optimization. I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Lab Science with a specialization in informatics at Rutgers University, which I'm set to complete in Winter 2023. This academic pursuit is my way of staying up-to-date with the latest knowledge and methods to complement my practical experience.My career aspirations are simple: I hope to contribute my skills effectively, whether on or off the bench. This includes coordinating technical functions within the clinical lab, fostering collaboration between departments, supporting and guiding colleagues, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing inventory efficiently.I've had the opportunity to troubleshoot issues, validate new equipment, and enhance processes, but I'm always eager to learn and grow. I regularly attend seminars, workshops, conferences, and scientific meetings to expand my knowledge and expertise.As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, I confidently embrace a lifelong learning attitude and actively seek opportunities to collaborate with my colleagues, knowing that such partnerships are vital to achieving success in this field.
